St. Joseph's Institution (SJI) is a Catholic school founded on the Lasallian values of Faith, Service and Community. For more than 170 years, we have been committed to educating the whole person—forming young men and women of character, competence and compassion who are ready to make a difference in the world.

In a world characterised by rapid technological change and increasing complexity, students need more than knowledge alone. At SJI, we equip our students with both the intellectual rigour and the human qualities that will enable them to thrive in the future.
We offer a balanced and holistic dual-track education pathway that supports students from Secondary 1 through Junior College 2. Beyond academic excellence, we seek to develop students socially, emotionally, spiritually and physically, helping them discover their strengths, nurture their talents and find meaning in their lives.
Our Integrated Programme (IP) offers a seamless six-year educational journey that combines four years of secondary education with two years of junior college education, culminating in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Our Secondary Education Certificate (SEC) programme provides a rigorous four-year secondary education that prepares students for further studies and future opportunities. While our secondary section is an all-boys school, our junior college section is co-educational, welcoming both girls and boys who wish to pursue the two-year IBDP.
Our academic programmes are designed to challenge and inspire every student. Through our three-tier Levels of Learning curriculum, students build a strong foundation in knowledge while developing the curiosity, creativity and critical-thinking skills necessary to navigate an increasingly complex world. More importantly, they cultivate a lifelong love of learning that will continue to guide them long after they leave our classrooms.
Learning at SJI extends far beyond textbooks. Through our Josephian Formation Journey, physical education, outdoor education programmes and diverse co-curricular activities, students develop resilience, leadership, teamwork and a strong moral compass. They are encouraged to step out of their comfort zones, embrace new experiences and discover their unique gifts and talents.
