175 Anniversary Logo
The logo was designed by Josephian Jorim Tan Jin Ray (ML402), with animation by Roshan Singh Sindhu (Class of 2023).
Architectural Integration
The design synthesises the milestone ‘175’ with the school’s physical identity. By reimagining the digits as structural elements, the logo recreates the iconic alcove housing the school’s central statue. The ‘7’ curves gracefully to form a protective arch, while the silhouette of the roofline and crowning serves as a direct homage to the school’s steadfast faith and heritage.
Heart of the Mission
At the centre of the composition is the statue of St John Baptist de La Salle with the children. This placement intentionally positions the Founder as the literal and metaphorical centre of the community. It serves as a powerful reminder of the school’s mission to provide a transformative education rooted in Lasallian tradition.
Symbolic Prestige
The use of gold for the central figures elevates the design from emblematic representation, to celebration of its significance. The choice of palette not only highlights its spiritual and moral importance, but also the prestige of a 175 year legacy. The contrast marks a historical milestone, reflecting both a golden past, and a radiant future ahead.
