Year 4 OP Graduation Ceremony

SJI celebrated 254 Year 4 O-Level Programme graduands on 30 September.
On 30 September 2021, SJI celebrated the graduation of 254 Year 4 boys from the O-Level Programme. The day marked the official end of their four-year journey in SJI, but also the start of their final stretch to the O-Level examination and a whole new journey ahead of them.
Four years ago, the boys joined SJI, innocent, eager, and wanting to excel. They graduate mature, caring, and determined to serve. More significantly, they graduate "not as a family by blood but brothers by heart," Lutfil Hadi Bin Iskandar (LE402) said.
For all of us, the Class of 2021 is special. Not because COVID-19 overwhelmed them but because they overcame Covid by staying the course with faith to keep learning, through service to help each other through the examinations, and as a community to look forward with hope. The school has great faith that they will go forth and change the world for the better.
In spite of safe distancing measures put in place, the graduation was celebrated in style in every class, with their classmates and form tutors, from the quiet reflection during the paraliturgy to the presentation of the top awards at the graduation ceremony. The highlight was the surprise farewell from the Year 4s, where the Prefect ExCo presented a token of appreciation to departing Principal Fr Adrian Danker at the end of the celebrations.
