Three in a Row! SJI C Division Footballers Crowned 2026 NSG CHAMPIONS

Our C Division Football team capped off an outstanding season by defeating St Gabriel’s Secondary School 3–0 in the National School Games C Division Boys’ Football Final, securing an incredible third consecutive C Division title for SJI.

Roared on by a sea of green and white at Our Tampines Hub, the Josephians rose to the occasion. Gabriel Ng (LE202) opened the scoring with a well-taken header before vice-captain Tan Sheng De (LE201) doubled the lead after the break. Gabriel then added his second of the match to seal a memorable 3–0 victory and complete a remarkable three-peat.

The victory was also a wonderful celebration of the Josephian community, with our students, staff, parents and alumni filling the stadium and rallying behind the team throughout the match. Together, they created an unforgettable atmosphere — a powerful expression of school spirit, solidarity and pride as one Josephian community.

Beyond the result, our footballers embodied the sporting values of excellence and sportsmanship through their commitment, teamwork, resilience and respect for their opponents. They represented SJI with distinction, both on and off the field.
