The Milestone Assembly for Year 4IP

The Paraliturgy and Milestone Assembly represented a significant occasion for the Year 4 IP students. This event marked the final gathering of the Year 4 IP cohort, serving as a poignant moment of closure as they united as a class one last time.

The Paraliturgy provided an opportunity for reflection and encouragement. It created a space for introspection on their growth and the friendships our Josephians had cultivated. It was a moment of closure, coupled with gratitude, as students conveyed their appreciation and encouragement to one another and their teachers.

At the Milestone Assembly, Vice-Principal Mr. Nicholas Tsao shared with Josephians that success transcends academic achievements. He urged them to celebrate each other's strengths and talents and to recognise that success also encompasses adaptability and resilience in the face of change. He highlighted the importance of community collaboration, encouraging the welcoming of new students joining SJI in 2025.

Mr. Bernard Low, Director of Student Development, echoed these sentiments, emphasising the significance of self-respect and adopting a broader definition of success. In his speech, he reiterated that failure is not contrary to success but rather an essential part of the journey toward it. Ariel Aiman Bin Noorisman (FN401), representing the Year 4IP cohort, expressed gratitude for the unwavering support from their teachers over the past four years. His remarks encapsulated the students' collective appreciation, acknowledging the teachers' crucial role in their development and growth.

The assembly concluded with the presentation of the Singapore School Sports Council Colours Awards and the prizes for the best students in the Signum Fidei programme.
