Teachers' Day Celebrations

Josephians thanked their teachers with an online 'SJI Got Talent' concert under the theme Et Alma Curant.
SJI commemorated Teachers Day together as one community on 2 September. The theme for this year’s edition of Teachers’ Day, Et Alma Curant, which means to care and nurture, succinctly captures the essence of teaching and what teachers throughout the ages have represented and stood for. The staff in SJI have proven to be stalwarts of learning - they are a dependable and strong pillar of support for our students, giving them a sense of normalcy in this period of immense uncertainty and fast-paced change.
Josephians showed their appreciation for their teachers through their artistic and musical talents at the 'SJI Got Talent' competition during the Teachers' Day online concert. The 3 judges, Mr Arul, Ms Surjeet Kaur and Ms Daisy Chia voted for:
Most Talented Award: Dexter Lee (FN103)
Most Innovative Award: Parkway Band - Performers: Issac Chua (FN504), Tan Xinyi (ML511), Graeme Foo (FN504), Ryan Ng (LE510), Joshua Ong (ML511)
The Most Popular Award voted by the student population also goes to Parkway Band!
