Strong Showing by Pipe Band at 2025 Singapore Championships

Team A placed 2nd in the Juvenile Section, while a newly fielded Team B of mostly Year 2 students gained valuable experience.

We are proud to share that our SJI Pipeband Team A clinched 2nd Place in the Juvenile Section of the Singapore Pipe Band Championships, held on 4 June 2025.

In the individual events, our students also achieved commendable results:

  • Solo Pipes: Cheng Jae Hin – 3rd Place

  • Solo Tenor: Govindarajan Nikhilesh – 3rd Place

This year also marked a milestone as we fielded a second team; Team B comprising mostly Year 2 students, with one Year 3 snare drummer. Although new to the competition, Team B delivered a solid performance and gained valuable experience on stage.
