Spirit of SJI Shines Bright at Open House 2025

More than 5,000 visitors attended, with fully subscribed talks, campus tours, sports demonstrations and heritage gallery visits.
On 17 May, SJI opened its doors to more than 5,000 visitors for our annual Open House. From the moment guests arrived, they were immersed in our dynamic school culture and welcoming community.
The Information Talks were fully subscribed as parents and aspiring students filled the lecture theatres to capacity, eager to engage with our Principal, Vice Principals and Deans. These conversations offered meaningful insights into our academic and co-curricular programmes, school life and admission pathways.
Our student ambassadors were out in full force; manning registration booths, guiding campus tours, and serving as docents in Missio: SJI’s Heritage Gallery. Their confidence, warmth, and knowledge reflected the Josephian spirit and made guests feel welcomed and at home.
At the Indoor Sports Hall, guests were treated to fast-paced sports demonstrations. Families joined in with enthusiastic participation, cheered on by Josephians and teachers. Meanwhile, the SJI field was a hive of energy with ongoing Track & Field, Football, and Rugby activities that gave guests a first hand experience of our vibrant sports culture.
Over in the main building, the precision and pride of our Uniformed Groups left a strong impression on visitors, while the vibrant Visual Arts displays sparked inspiration with their bold colours and creative flair. In the Makerspace, our STEM activities drew excited crowds and were enthusiastically described as “awesome.” Just a floor above, the Founder’s Hall pulsed with energy as our Performing Arts Groups delivered show-stopping performances, filling the space with music, movement and applause.
The excitement continued in the Library, where booths highlighted our Academic and Special Programmes. A dramatic Literature performance by our students brought the space to life, drawing crowds and sparking conversations about learning beyond the classroom.
The 2025 SJI Open House was a celebration of all that makes our school special. From curious young visitors to proud alumni and hopeful families, there was something for everyone. It was truly a day filled with heart, discovery and the Josephian way.
