SJI Year 4 IP Milestone Assembly 2025

Year 4 IP students marked their transition to Year 5 at a 23 October Milestone Assembly featuring a Paraliturgy and addresses from school leaders.
Our Year 4 IP Josephians gathered in the Lecture Theatre on 23 October 2025 for their Milestone Assembly, marking the end of their secondary school journey and their transition to Year 5 in 2026.
The morning began with a Paraliturgy led by Dr Andrew Martin, inviting students to pause in gratitude, reflect on four years of friendship, faith and growth, and give thanks for teachers, parents and peers who supported them.
Vice-Principal Mr Nicholas Tsao, in his opening address, celebrated the cohort’s camaraderie, humour and warmth, noting how their creativity and drive shone through projects like Signum Fidei and school events. He encouraged them to carry forward mindfulness and maturity as they move into the next phase of their education.
Head of Level Mr Bernard Low urged students to seek not only achievement but meaning. Drawing from a Rod Stewart song, he reminded them to “stay forever young” by keeping open hearts and courageous spirits. “Kindness will take us as far as knowledge ever will,” he said. “May success never make us arrogant, nor failure make us bitter.”
Level Representative Kaedrin Herman Isaacs (ML401) delivered a heartfelt address, recalling memories from ACE Camp, OBS and the Lenten Project supporting the Majekal Mission in Manila. He reflected on lessons of resilience, service and unity, saying, “Success isn’t just about results. It’s about how we treat others and how we keep going even when it’s hard.” The cohort then sang “We Are Lasallian,” celebrating their shared identity. Awards followed, recognising students who embodied Faith, Service and Community through excellence and leadership. A video montage and class reflections captured their laughter, challenges and lasting bonds. The morning ended with “St Joseph’s Call” and the School Rally, as the cohort stood together united in pride, gratitude and hope.
As they move forward, the Class of 2025 carries with them the Josephian spirit to lead with courage, serve with compassion and remain forever young at heart.
