SJI Smashes into Third Place in the NSG C-Division Badminton

Our C Division badminton team won bronze, SJI's best finish in over 14 years.
Eight days before the finals, our SJI C-Division Badminton boys nearly made history in the NSG semi-finals, coming agonizingly close to toppling powerhouse ACSI. The match came down to the wire, with a narrow 2-3 loss decided in the final singles game.
Remarkably, our Year 1 player, stepping in for an unwell second-seed, showcased resilience and skill in a high-pressure situation. It was a performance that marked how far we've come – our best finish in over 14 years, just a step away from the finals!
On 20 August 2024, SJI faced off against Maris Stella for the 3rd place playoff, and our Josephians rose to the occasion. With determination and teamwork, they secured a decisive 4-1 victory, bringing home the Bronze on the podium. Congratulations to the SJI C-Division Badminton team for their outstanding achievement in this year’s competition!
