SJI Shortlisted for Team Singapore at International Science School 2025

Erica Seah Jue Jia was selected after two MOE rounds to represent Singapore at the University of Sydney's International Science School.
Erica Seah Jue Jia from LE509 was shortlisted by MOE, after 2 rounds of selection, to represent Singapore at the International Science School (ISS) on 7-18 July 2025. This year marks the second time in a row that SJI was selected for Team Singapore for ISS as one of the top JCs, along with JC1 students from 4 other schools.
Organised by The University of Sydney (Australia), the ISS is a biennial residential Science outreach program for students across the world. The program gathers up to 150 talented young students for a fortnight of intense and inspiring Science. Participants will have the opportunity to attend a series of talks by leading researchers from a wide range of disciplines across Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. In addition, participants will also get to visit cutting-edge research facilities, engage in hands-on experiments, and will have the opportunity to interact with and to learn from top scientists.
SJI is extremely proud of Erica's achievement and we are confident that she will represent Singapore and SJI proudly and will have the experience of a lifetime at the ISS!
