SJI’s Silent Hero

Noah Yang received the Silent Heroes Student Apex Award 2025 from Minister Indranee Rajah on 27 September, one of five special honours selected from over 80 awardees.
We are proud to celebrate Noah Yang (MN618), recipient of the Silent Heroes Student Apex Award 2025, presented by Ms Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development, on 27 September 2025.
This prestigious award is one of only five special honours given to outstanding recipients of the Singapore Silent Heroes (SSH) Student Award. Selected from over 80 awardees, the Apex Award recognizes Noah’s empathy, leadership, and civic spirit.
Guided by the Lasallian values of Faith, Service, and Community, Noah has made lasting impact through initiatives such as:
Project Connection – raising awareness and creating opportunities for children with rare skin conditions
Speech Buddy! – empowering Primary 6 students through public speaking workshops
Raising funds for Children’s Wishing Well through the SJI musical, Starstuck the Musical
Supporting the migrant workers community through Building Community Champions and PRISM fund raising efforts
With a heart for “the last, the lost, and the least”, Noah embodies what it means to serve quietly yet powerfully. He is truly an inspiration to us all.
