SJI Participates in the Student Archivist Project

Two teams interviewed senior citizens about becoming Singaporean in the 1950s-60s, run by the Founders' Memorial and National Heritage Board.
SJI participated in the Student Archivist Project (SAP), an oral history initiative organised by the Founders’ Memorial under the National Heritage Board. This meaningful project invited students to collect personal stories from senior interviewees about their experiences of becoming Singapore citizens in the 1950s and 1960s, along with their reflections on multiculturalism in Singapore.
Two teams of Josephians conducted insightful interviews, demonstrating exceptional oral history and interviewing skills. Representing SJI were:
