SJI Open House: A Day of Excitement and Discovery

On Saturday, 18 May, SJI welcomed over 4,500 visitors to our Open House, where they had the opportunity to experience our vibrant school culture and inclusive community.

The Talks by the Principal were fully subscribed with our lecture theatres packed to capacity. It was heartening to see parents engaging with our Principal, Vice Principals, and Deans to learn more about SJI’s programmes and admissions.

Our student ambassadors played a key role, managing registration booths, guiding tours around the school, and serving as docents in Missio: SJI’s Heritage Gallery. Their enthusiasm and knowledge were on full display, making them invaluable to the event’s success.

At the Indoor Sports Hall, visitors enjoyed various sports demonstrations, with lively participation that showcased the energetic spirit of our guests. The SJI field buzzed with Track & Field, Football, and Rugby activities, providing a glimpse into our robust sports programmes.

As guests returned to the main school building, they were impressed by the precision of our Uniformed Groups and the creativity of our Visual Arts displays. The Founder’s Hall was abuzz with the dynamic performances of our Performing Arts groups, creating an electrifying atmosphere.

The excitement continued in the Library, where our Academic and Special Programmes were showcased. The highlight was a dramatic Literature performance by our students, captivating the audience and bringing literary works to life.

The SJI Open House was truly a day filled with energy, creativity, and discovery, leaving a lasting impression on all who attended. There’s never a dull moment at SJI!
