SJI Indian Cultural Society Celebrates a Year of Achievements

Year 3 Josephians won First Prize at the Drama Festival 2025, Year 2 Higher Tamil students placed Second Runner-Up in NLB's library race, and the team competed in a Kambaramayanam Quiz.
The SJI Indian Cultural Society has enjoyed a remarkable year of achievements. At the Drama Festival 2025, organised by the S5 Cluster at the Umar Pulavar Tamil Language Centre, our Year 3 Josephians clinched First Prize, with Hari Prasanth receiving the Best Actor award.
The team comprised Dhivyash Khilivalavan (FN302), Tharnis Selveraju (LE301), Hari Prasanth (FN301), Raj Tharnesh (FN301), Jai Balaji (MN301), Govindarajan Nikilesh (FN301), Kalyanasundar Kishore (MN303) and Akshaj Prabhakaran (LE302).
In another event, our Year 2 Higher Tamil students secured Second Runner-Up in the Marma Desam 3.0 – Library Race, organised by the National Library Board for lower secondary students.
The team members were Muhammad Fuzail (FN201), Sakthi Muralikrishna (FN201), Eyalarasan Nilavan (FN202), Kavin Kannappan (FN202) and Selvam Sukirthan (MN203).
Team SJI also took part in the Kambaramayanam Quiz, organised by the Singapore Writers’ Association in conjunction with Kamban Vizha 2025, adding to our medal tally for the year.
