SJI Footballers Rally to Secure 3rd Place in NSG

Our B Division footballers won on penalties to take third place at the NSG.

Our B Division Football Team faced off against St. Gabriel's Sec in a riveting 3rd/4th playoff. Despite going a goal down early in the match, the SJI B Division footballers showed tremendous resilience, grit and fought back to equalise.

Despite the end-to-end action from both sides during regulation time, the match ended 1-1 and went into extra time. Our SJI footballers dug deep and eventually emerged victorious by winning 4 - 2 on penalties to clinch 3rd place in the NSG B Division Football League 1 Championships.
