SJI A Division Tennis at the NSG

Led by captain Aiden Chew, the team narrowly lost 3-2 to ACJC, finishing 4th after the deciding doubles match went to a third set.
Marking the end of the A Division Tennis NSG season, on 21 May 2025, our team lead by Aiden Chew (MN617), played against ACJC to vie for the 3rd/4th placing at the Kallang Tennis Hub. After a gruelling set of 5 matches, the team lost by a very narrow margin of 3-2 matches to clinch 4th position. Our players played all out to maintain an even score until the final doubles match which we lost narrowly 4-6, 6-4 and 5-7.
Our senior players were very determined, and put up a strong performance against their opponent in our typical SJI fighting spirit. The captivated audience were treated to numerous anxious moments as they witnessed the two teams battling it out. In the final reckoning, the SJI team were able to hold their heads up high with pride.
