Isaac Koh, in his first year on Singapore's National Development Squad, won Gold in the Male Team event and Bronze in Pair at the ICTO Taekwondo Championships in Vietnam.
Josephian Isaac Koh (LE301) represented Singapore at the ICTO Taekwondo Championships 2025 in Vietnam from 21–24 August, marking his first year as a member of the National Development Squad (NDS).
Displaying remarkable resilience and composure, young Isaac faced competitors from across Asia and beyond—including Hong Kong, Malaysia, Myanmar, South Korea, Thailand, Australia, and host nation Vietnam.
He proudly brought home a Gold medal in the Male Team event and a Bronze medal in the Pair match.
For Isaac, the championships were more than just about medals; they were a journey of growth and perseverance, and the honour of representing both his country and his school with pride.
His achievement also reflects the commitment and support of school leaders, teachers, coaches, and the SJI community; demonstrating that with the right balance, Josephians can excel in academics and sport while living out the values of Passion, Integrity, and Service.
