Nigel Tan Shines on the International Sailing Stage

SJI congratulates Nigel Tan (ML303) on his outstanding performance at the 2024 Optimist Asian & Oceania Championship in Hong Kong! Finishing 4th out of 133 sailors is an incredible achievement, made even more inspiring by Nigel's unwavering determination and resilience in overcoming illness and numerous challenges, including cold weather and difficult wind conditions during the competition.

Nigel's sailing journey has been remarkable—at the end of last year, he excelled over four intense days at the Singapore National Sailing Championships 2024, where he placed 4th out of 82 sailors.
