Making Waves at NSG Swimming

SJI's C Division relay teams placed 4th and 5th with big personal-best improvements, and the boys reached 12 finals, up from 5 last year.
Our SJI swimmers have put up a good showing at the recent NSG wimming Championships 2026.
The C Division Josephians: Emanuel Heng (FN101), Alexander Chan (MN201), Elijah Hui (MN202) and Elliot Lam (FN201) garnered 4th place in the 4x50m Medley Relay with a timing of 2:03.48, improving by an incredible 13.16s from last year’s performance.
In the C Division 4x50m Freestyle Relay, Elijah Hui (MN202), Diego Ow (FN102), Emanuel Heng (FN101) and Elliot Lam (FN201) narrowly missed the podium by less than 0.5s, finishing in 5th place after collectively improving their personal best timings by nearly 5 seconds.
Overall, the C Division boys reached 12 finals this year, up from 5 last year, while the B Division boys maintained a strong showing with 4 final appearances.
Special mention: Year 1 swimmers Jakus Yang (FN101) and Karl Wong (LE101), as well as Dexter Chua (LE302) who persevered despite a serious knee injury earlier this year. And a shoutout to Shi Zheng Yan (LE403) and Nicholas Chan (FN602) from the graduating classes.
