Josephians Win Awards in Art and Design Competitions

Two Josephians won prizes in a Bible art competition and a media literacy design contest.
Congratulations to Santino Dev Joseph Xavier (LE103) on being awarded 3rd prize in the Colours of the Bible Art Competition 2021 organized by The Bible Society of Singapore!
His illustration was expressed in art in this quote: "The Bible is full of new beginnings. From God using the least to confound the mighty, to God working behind the scenes to provide a breakthrough for a character, God is often the central figure that propels change for that character. “New Beginnings” sparks hope in one’s heart, and hope does not disappoint."
Congratulations to Sebastian Jerome Chin Long Yee (MN201) on receiving the Commendation award in the Design for Good Competition 2021 (opens in new tab) organised by the Media Literacy Council. His vibrant and distinctive artwork has raised awareness to encourage better use of the Internet by promoting the values of Be Kind, Be Smart and Be Safe.
The Better Internet Campaign is all about gathering like-minded people to create a safer, better internet for everyone. It is interesting to learn that it is based on 4 core values of Empathy, Respect, Responsibility, and Integrity, the Better Internet Campaign and raises awareness of cyber wellness issues that affect all of us, especially to help us create a safer, better internet for everyone.
