Josephians win AI-based Video Creating Story Competition

A team comprising Ratul Ramachandran (ML402), Ramaswamy Kasi (ML402), and Venkatesh Ashvath @ Naren (MN403) won First Place in the upper secondary category of an AI-based video creating story competition. The competition was organised by Azhagappa Institution Alumni Singapore.

Thirty-three schools participated in the competition, and the SJI team triumphed against Raffles Girls School and Swiss Cottage Secondary School to take the Championship. The competition started with a workshop at NUS where students learnt how to make use of various technologies and apps. The team had about two months to understand and learn the various software to create a video for their final submission.

While preparing for the competition, the team faced a few challenges, but in true Josephian spirit, they persevered and worked together as a team to hit all the deadlines and produce a video that made them proud!
