Josephians Welcome Formal Day

Over two weeks in July, SJI hosted a Social Etiquette and Interview Skills Workshop aimed at preparing our students for the world of work. These interactive talks which involved role-playing and tips for success focused on equipping students with essential skills that are vital for their future careers.

Students participated in interactive sessions where they learned the art of a formal handshake—a crucial first step in making a lasting impression. They practiced making appropriate eye contact, understanding its significance in conveying confidence and engagement during professional interactions. In addition to these soft skills, the workshop provided valuable insights into dressing for success. Students were guided on how to choose attire that reflects sophistication and seriousness, helping them present themselves as potential employees ready to take on the challenges of the professional world.

Every Josephian walked away with a better understanding of how to navigate the workplace with poise and professionalism. We are proud of our students for their enthusiasm and commitment to self-improvement.
