Josephians Shine in National Science Olympiads and Research Attachments

Four students won medals and Honourable Mentions at the Chemistry and Physics Olympiads, while three others completed research attachments at ASTAR, NUS and NTU.
Four passionate Year 6 Josephians have achieved commendable results at two prestigious National Science Olympiads organised by the Ministry of Education (MOE) — the 36th Singapore Chemistry Olympiad and the 37th Singapore Physics Olympiad. Collectively, they brought home 2 medals and 3 Honourable Mentions:
Anthony Chow Jun Xiang (MN619) – Bronze Medal, Chemistry Olympiad
Kum Trakal (MN616) – Bronze Medal, Chemistry Olympiad; Honourable Mention, Physics Olympiad
Yashica Manesh Moolchandani (ML515) and Ciaran Liam Condron (ML613) – Honourable Mention, Physics Olympiad
In addition, three Year 6 students successfully completed a 5-week Research Attachment Programme under the Local Student Attachment Programmes (LSAP) coordinated by MOE during the December holidays. They received Certificates of Completion for their involvement in research projects at leading institutions:
Anshita Palavali (FN602) – Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory
Chuah Jia Wern Audrey (MN619) – A*STAR Institute of High Performance Computing. Her research project also clinched 2 awards at the Singapore Science and Engineering Fair (SSEF) 2025
Yashica Manesh Moolchandani (ML615) – A*STAR Bioinformatics Institute
