Josephians Shine at the A*STAR-VJC Science Fair

A Josephian team won Gold at the A*STAR-VJC Science Fair for turning used cooking oil into soap.
Four SJI teams participated in the A*STAR-VJC Science Fair 2024. This annual competition is targeted at secondary school students with an interest to develop and deepen their learning in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through research.
Our Josephian team comprising Nithush, Emmanuel and Sachin captured the prestigious Gold Award for their outstanding science project on ‘Repurposing used cooking oil to produce effective stain-cleaning soaps’. The team was also invited to present their project to an esteemed audience of distinguished guests, teachers and students. This achievement is a testament to their hard work and passion for Science.
