Josephians Shine at ETPS 2026

We are proud to celebrate three outstanding Year 5 Josephians who have been awarded the Ministry of Education's Engineering and Tech Programme Scholarship (ETPS) 2026.

Introduced by MOE in 2023, the ETPS aims to strengthen STEM education and nurture future changemakers in Engineering and Technology by encouraging talented students to pursue STEM-related higher education and careers.

This year’s recipients are Achyut Aravindh (FN502), Sathyan Duraimurugan (MN517) and Carsten Yung Chern Anand (MN518).

Selected for their strong foundations in Mathematics and the Sciences, as well as their aptitude for applied, interdisciplinary and hands-on learning, these Josephians have demonstrated both academic excellence and a passion for innovation.

As recipients of the ETPS, these scholars will have the opportunity to participate in the Flagship STEM Workshop conducted by Singapore’s autonomous universities, where they will learn to apply human-centred design, engineering and technology to address real-world challenges. They will also gain valuable industry exposure through work attachments and internships with leading private companies and public agencies, providing deeper insights into careers in the Engineering and Technology sector.
