On 25 July, our Year 2 Josephians participated in the National Schools Literature Festival.
On 25 July, our Year 2 Josephians participated in the National Schools Literature Festival, hosted at Yishun Secondary School.
Celebrating 21 years of nurturing creativity, collaboration, critical thinking and confident communication through Literature, the festival returned this year for its first in-person event since 2019. It welcomed participants from 95 secondary schools across Singapore, reflecting the resounding support for the learning and appreciation of this enduring and much-loved subject.
Our students distinguished themselves in the two events organised for lower secondary participants:
Book Trailer and Dramatisation – Gold Award
Book Parade – Silver Award
Through both events, the students showcased their thoughtful and creative engagement with their Literature text, Macbeth by William Shakespeare. They brought their learning to life for both the judges and students, demonstrating confidence, teamwork, imagination and a strong appreciation of the text.
