Josephians Do Well at Raffles Model United Nations

Congratulations to Aeden Chng (LE303) on being awarded the best position paper at the Raffles Model United Nations 2021! Zhuo Chengsheng (LE403), Keevan Kanagalingam (LE403) and Assis Franklin Kevin Benedict (ML403) - as delegates of Malta, USA and Canada respectively - on being given honourable mentions.

“Reforming the United Nations Security Council" was the topic of discussion at the Raffles MUN, one that is deeply relevant to current issues in the United Nations with greatly differing opinions across various blocks of nations. A very detailed and comprehensive study guide was provided to all delegates under the United Nations general assembly which allowed all delegates equal ability and context to perform well based on their countries’ stance. It was an opportunity for the boys to glean an understanding of worldly issues and their impact or influence on people's lives.
