Josephians Awarded MOE Engineering and Tech Programme Scholarship

Nine Year 5 students were awarded the scholarship, giving access to STEM workshops and industry internships.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) introduced the Engineering and Tech Programme Scholarship (ETPS) in 2023 to develop future changemakers in Engineering and Technology. This year, the ETPS are awarded to nine Year 5 students who have strong foundations in Mathematics and the Sciences, with an inclination towards applied, interdisciplinary and hands-on learning.
Our Josephian ETPS scholars are: Geoffrey Chong (FN504), Kayden Tan (LE505), Alexander Chow Feng (LE506), Oon Kang Hong (LE507), Werner Lee (LE507), Tristin Tan (MN512), Elijah Pio Tan (ML514), Jaeden Ng (ML514) and Robbie Tang (ML514).
As recipients of the ETPS, these scholars will have the opportunity to participate in the Flagship STEM Workshop conducted by autonomous universities, to experience, learn and apply human-centred design, technology and engineering to solve real-world challenges. They will also have the opportunity to participate in work attachments and internships at private companies and public agencies to understand more about careers in the engineering & tech industries.
