117 Josephians took the Australian Mathematics Competition. See the High Distinction and Distinction results.
117 Josephians from Year 1 to Year 4 took part in the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) in August 2023. The AMC is Australia’s longest running, largest and most well-known Mathematics Competition for school students.
Like all our competitions, the AMC contains unique problems designed each year by leading educators and academics to challenge and extend students’ problem-solving skills. The objectives of the AMC include the creation of interest in the study of Mathematics, the encouragement of excellence and the recognition of students who demonstrate competence in the basic skill areas of Mathematics.
And our Josephians did not disappoint; they shone with commendable results.
Junior category: 1 High Distinction and 12 Distinction Awards
Intermediate category: 1 High Distinction and 18 Distinction Awards
The High Distinction awards recipients are Ryan Lim (ML201) and Tran Luu Anh Kiet (MN403). Tran also attained the Best in School award.
