Josephian Wins Singapore Schools Sports Council Best Sportsboy Award

Zachary Sng was named Best Sportsboy among 53 nominees, recognised for his achievements in tennis.
Zachary Sng from ML 401 was amongst 53 student athletes from various schools across the nation who were honoured with the Singapore Schools Sports Council Best Sportsboy or Best Sportsgirl Award. This prestigious award is presented to the overall best male and female athlete of the 28 SSSC sports and games sanctioned by the SSSC, in recognition of the students’ excellent achievements in local and/or overseas competitions from 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025. The award recipient should also demonstrate outstanding character.
Zachary received the pinnacle award from Guest-of-Honour, Ms Amita Berthier, a National Olympic Fencer at the SSSSC Colours Award Ceremony on 26th September 2025. The award ceremony also marked the closing of the National School Games which took place from January to September 2025.
Heartiest congratulations to Zachary for his outstanding performance in Tennis! Zachary has taken great pride in representing his school and country. His determination and commitment to sporting excellence is something to be admired and emulated.
