Josephian Taekwondo Team Stands Tall on the Regional Stage

Fresh from their strong debut at this year’s NSG, our Josephians took to the mat once again. This time at the Singapore Open Taekwondo Championships 2025. The competition featured not only top local talent but also formidable athletes from around the region.

Our SJI Taekwondo Team stepped up to compete in both Poomsae (pattern) and Kyorugi (sparring) categories. They faced every challenge with grit and determination, going toe-to-toe with some of the best in the sport. Amidst the high level of competition, the team stood out not only for their technical skill, but also for their unwavering sportsmanship. They displayed courage in the face of adversity, respect for their opponents and officials, and a deep sense of camaraderie.

We are proud of their growth and heart, and we look forward to seeing how far their Taekwondo journey will take them.
