Josephian Sportsmen Play with Pride in the NSG Tennis Finals

Our Josephian Tennis team faced ACS(I) in the National School Games (NSG) Tennis 'C' Division finals this morning. Despite a hard-fought battle, we narrowly missed out on the championship title.

Throughout the competition, our boys showed determination, perseverance and mental fortitude in overcoming the odds. This could be exemplified by our C division captain, Justin Lie (ML202), who, despite suffering an injury early in the second set, pressed on and continued to fight for every point. However, the injury proved insurmountable, forcing him to retire at the start of the third set.

We're immensely proud of the dedication, teamwork, and fighting spirit that carried the team this far. With heads held high, our young lads leave the court more determined than ever to come back stronger next year. This year marks the third consecutive year that the SJI ‘C’ division Tennis team has made it to the finals, and the team is already looking forward to 2025 with much hope and renewed promise.
