Josephian clinches Silver Medal at Physics Olympiad

Jonas Wong won the Silver Medal at the 36th Singapore Physics Olympiad. Read about the rounds he came through.
Jonas Wong (MN619) did SJI proud when he took home the Silver Medal at the 36th Singapore Physics Olympiad.
The prize presentation ceremony was held on 24 February at National Junior College, and hosted by MOE officials and Professor Christian Kurtsiefer from the Physics Department at NUS.
The theoretical round of the competition was held on 21 Oct 2023 with participation from close to 200 JC1 students in Singapore. At the experimental round for shortlisted students on 23 November, seven students from the 2023 SJI Year 5 Physics cohort took part in the competition.
