Josephian at Admiral's Cup Optimist Sailing Regatta in Thailand

Lucas Lim (MN102) participated in the highly competitive Admiral's Cup Optimist Sailing Regatta in Pattaya, Thailand. The regatta, a significant international event, brought together young sailors from across Asia and the Middle East, including participants from Thailand, Malaysia, Oman, Korea, China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. The competition provided Lucas with a platform to challenge himself against some of the best up-and-coming sailors in the region.

The regatta was an exciting and intense experience for Lucas, filled with highs and challenges. Though he didn’t win any medals overall, Lucas achieved a significant personal milestone by securing first place in one of the races, showcasing his skill, determination, and ability to perform under pressure. This victory, while not part of the final medal tally, was a testament to his progress and growth as a sailor.
