Josephian Amongst the Best in MOE Budding Poets Programme

Sanfo Bimal Thomas (FN605) took part in MOE’s Budding Poets Programme, an annual event for junior college students that is organised by the Ministry of Education’s Tamil Language Unit of the Mother Tongue Languages Branch, Curriculum Planning and Development Division. This year, the programme was held over 5 months, beginning with 2 workshops by Tamil Poets in March that led to the final presentation in July. Over 100 students from Singapore’s junior colleges participated in this year’s Budding Poets Programme. Amongst all the poem entries, Sanfo’s poem was selected as one of the best to be featured for the grand event on 17 July.
