End-of-Year Thanksgiving Celebration

SJI marks the closing of the school year with the Thanksgiving Ceremony every year. This year, the theme ‘Curating a difference - stars of gratitude’ was to celebrate our gratitude towards everything that came and passed us by throughout the year, in spite of the challenges of the evolving pandemic and safe distancing measures.
In gratitude, we also celebrated the gift of those staff who will be leaving the school as they move on to other opportunities or to celebrate their retirement. The Thanksgiving Ceremony was also the last official school event for Fr Adrian Danker where he concluded his appointment as Principal and handed over the leadership of the school to the incoming Principal Mr Justin Arul Pierre, with the SJI tradition of presenting the school flag.
The ceremony also saw the launch of the 170th anniversary logo for SJI, which the school will celebrate in 2022.
