DSTA and YDSP Scholarships

Ryan Isaac Koenig and Lin Hong Xun received DSTA scholarships at an April 28 ceremony at Marina Bay Sands.
Every year, the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) recognises students who demonstrate strong interest and outstanding academic performance in science and technology.
This year, Ryan Isaac Koenig (MN302) was awarded the Young Defence Scientists Programme (YDSP) Scholarship, which provides S$1,000 over two years. Lin Hong Xun (FN504) received the DSTA Junior College Scholarship, valued at S$2,000 over two years.
Both students received their scholarship awards at the YDSP Congress held at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre on 28 April 2026.
The Guest of Honour for the event was Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for Defence.
