SJI Tennis boys: sportsmanship

It was a battle between two outstanding teams, with every match demanding skill, grit, determination and an unrelenting fighting spirit. Every point was hard fought, every rally filled with intensity, and the final score of 2–3 reflected just how close the contest was.

While SJI finished Runners-up this year, our boys have given us every reason to be immensely proud. Throughout an incredible season, they showed tremendous courage, resilience and unity. They celebrated one another’s victories, stood shoulder to shoulder through the toughest moments, and never stopped fighting or believing in one another.

More importantly, they competed with sportsmanship, humility and character — qualities that speak volumes about who they are, both as sportsmen and as Josephians.

The team may not have taken home the gold, but they fought like champions. They stepped onto every court with courage, competed with pride, and gave everything they had for one another and for SJI.

Well done, Josephians! You fought with heart, stood together as one and represented SJI with tremendous pride. You have earned the respect, admiration and pride of the entire SJI community.
