Celebrating Our Budding Chinese Scriptwriters

SJI’s Chinese Cultural Society submitted five scripts to participate in the “Script it Right” Chinese Radio Drama Scriptwriting competition (“与声剧来”中文广播剧创作比赛).

This competition, jointly organised by the Committee to Promote Chinese Language Learning (CPCLL), Chinese radio station UFM100.3, and Holy Innocents’ High School, aims to promote the learning of the Chinese Language in a fun and interactive way. The competition was open to all Secondary, Junior College and Polytechnic students. It drew a total of 377 entries this year.

There were 30 students who were shortlisted for awards, and we are proud to announce that Jaren Oon (ML402) was one of the recipients of the shortlisted award with the script “邻里温情” (“Warmth among Neighbours”).
