Alumnus Honoured with PSC Scholarship

The Public Service Commission (PSC) Scholarship (Engineering) is a prestigious award that seeks to nurture the next generation of leaders in Singapore's engineering and technology sectors. Beyond providing financial support, the scholarship offers recipients invaluable opportunities to work alongside public agencies committed to engineering excellence, innovation and service to the nation.

SJI is proud to share that Lim Yee Kiat Zachary (Class of 2023) has been awarded this distinguished scholarship. The award was presented by Mr Chan Chun Sing, Coordinating Minister for Public Services, at a ceremony held on Friday, 24 July 2026.

Later this year, Zachary will begin his studies in Chemical Engineering at the renowned Imperial College London. As he embarks on this exciting new chapter, he does so with a strong sense of purpose and a deep commitment to serving Singapore. Through his education and future work in the Public Service, he hopes to contribute meaningfully to the nation and to the lives of others.

Zachary's achievement is a testament not only to his academic excellence and perseverance, but also to his desire to use his talents in the service of the wider community. He embodies the values of integrity, leadership and service that lie at the heart of a Josephian education.
