Alumna awarded the DSTA Scholarship at the Defence Scholarship

SJI is proud to celebrate Ridha Fathima Nowshad (FN604), from our IB Graduating Cohort of 2025, who was awarded the prestigious DSTA Scholarship at the Defence Scholarship Awards Ceremony on 12 August 2026.

The DSTA Scholarship is a prestigious undergraduate award that supports outstanding individuals pursuing studies in engineering, science and digital technologies. Ridha will be pursuing Aeronautical Engineering at Imperial College London.

An intelligent, grounded and purposeful young leader, Ridha has consistently demonstrated the ability to pursue academic excellence while remaining committed to making a meaningful contribution to society. Her intellectual curiosity, strength of character and heart for service embody the qualities we hope to nurture in every Josephian.
