Despite being held during exam season, SJI's blood drive on 3 September collected 53 bags of blood from parents, students and staff.
Term 3 was coming to an end … It was the post prelims period for the Year 6s and the Year 4 O levels students still had a final paper to sit for. There was no perfect time to hold a blood donation drive but the BLOODay CAS Committee went ahead with the preparations.
On 3 September 2025, 53 bags of blood were collected and this would not have been possible if not for the parents, students and staff who came forward to donate. A number of potential first-time donors tried but were rejected mainly due to their fine veins. We encourage them to work out more so their veins will be considered acceptable.
We hope for more continued support from the other donors in the next donation drive in 2026.
