The 29th Singapore National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI), modelled after the International Olympiad in Informatics (IOI), brought together some of Singapore’s most promising young programmers in a rigorous test of computational thinking, problem-solving and programming skills.

This year, 19 Josephians from Years 2 to 5 took up the challenge, with each contestant required to independently devise and program solutions to a series of demanding tasks.

Following an intensive five-hour preliminary round, eight Josephians advanced to the Finals held at the NUS School of Computing — an achievement in itself and a testament to their perseverance and skill.

We are delighted to share that several of our students distinguished themselves in the highly competitive Finals and received awards, making SJI proud.
