Josephian shines at the National Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence

The National Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence (NOAI) is Singapore’s premier AI competition for pre-university students, aimed at identifying and nurturing young talents with exceptional aptitude in artificial intelligence and machine learning.

This year, 37 Josephians took on the challenge, putting their knowledge of AI concepts, computational thinking and problem-solving skills to the test in a highly competitive preliminary round. From this strong field, two Josephians successfully advanced to the second round.

We are especially proud of Geoffrey Chong Jian Hang (FN606), who went on to earn a Bronze Award in the NOAI Final Assessment. His outstanding performance also secured him a place in the IOAI Selection Test, where students competed for selection to Singapore’s national team for the International Olympiad in Artificial Intelligence.

Congratulations, Geoffrey! Your achievement reflects not only your talent and dedication, but also the courage to embrace new challenges and push the boundaries of learning. You have made SJI proud!
