2009 GCE O Level Results

The students from the Class of 2009 have done us proud and proven their mettle with excellent ‘O’ Level results. SJI is a band 1 school for the 3rd year.

100% of the boys achieved at least 5 GCE 'O' level passes. 65% of our boys garnered distinctions in their GCE 'O' level subjects. 98% of students qualified for 2-year JC.

The top scorer from the 2009 GCE ‘O’ Level examinations at SJI is Jerald Cham Thow Min who garnered a score of 10 A1s (he took Chinese at a separate sitting). Three other boys, Gabriel Tan, Stacey Tay and Jishnu Mohan scored 9 A1s. Both Jerald and Gabriel are 2 out of only 6 local Chinese boys nationally to score 9 A1s.

We also have 12 boys scoring 8 A1s and 30 boys scoring 7 A1s. Another 38 boys scored 6 A1s.
