PSE in SJI has been designed to enable the student to learn more about himself - his strengths and weaknesses, his gifts and talents - so as to have greater self-awareness.
This self-awareness contributes to a boy’s development in becoming a reflective and self-directed learner – one of the attributes of the Profile of the SJI Boy.

PSE in SJI is based on three key themes aligned to the core values – faith, service and community – of the school. Josephians attend PSE classes from Sec 1 to Sec 4. PSE is scheduled twice a week in the curriculum and each period is 50 minutes long.
